Brad mixes the same intensity and skill he utilizes in his real estate career with his rebel rouser spirit into his active community life in Vancouver. Whether it is the United Way, Y.M.A.W., Mensa, Kingmakers or Toastmasters he strongly believes if we don’t take care of the village, then who will?
As the United Way chairman for his RE/MAX office for the last seven years, Brad has nearly tripled the annual total raised by his office campaign, raising over $250,000. Brad has shown extraordinary commitment in the support of his personal vision of “reinvesting into the betterment of our community.”
20 years ago, Brad and several other men started the Young Men’s Adventure Weekend (which is now a society in B.C.) Focusing on young men between the ages of 12 and 17, the society provides an annual camping trip for sons of single mothers. Brad coordinated over 30 volunteer leaders to fill the mentoring role that my be missing from the young men’s lives, helping them to discover and develop their own talents and values.
Brad continues working and living his goals to creatively discover tools for our youth that will be helpful in their adult years.
